MINUS LIGHT no darkness without light. an experiement with hacking your rods and cones. the ultrabright light of MINUS LIGHT overloads your photoreceptors, leaving a powerful afterimage making it almost impossible to navigate or even see in the darkly lit space of the LEAP opening.. a performative layer was added to the installation during the opening: volunteers were blindfolded for 5 minutes in front of the installation, leaving them to rely on their non-visual senses. an experiment in sensory deprivation. trust in going dark.
