Angelus Novus

<< Going Dark : Berlin

We're learning to forget in new ways. The massive data centers built by Google and the NSA prove that information no longer disappears, but is now instead lost by becoming less recent, less relevant, less top-of-mind. Angelus Novus explores three periods in human history: pre-history (blank paper); history (the accumulation of facts, modulated by events like the destruction of the Library of Alexandria); and post-history (the fading relevance of pure information). The printer will run until it has no more ink.
